System Level Extropy of the Past Life of a Coherent System
In this paper, we take a new approach to uncertainty in a coherent system, where components are assumed to be all inactive in a given time. In particular, the signature‐based method is used to quantify the extropy of the past lifetime of the system, which serves as a valuable indicator of its predictability.

Housing Rental Scheme Based on Redactable Blockchain
With the increase of the housing population, it is very important for renters to find credible housing information through rental platforms. However, due to the imperfection of relevant laws and insufficient supervision of the housing rental market, problems have emerged one after another.

“STARING INTO THE SINGULARITY” AND OTHER POSTHUMAN TALES: TRANSHUMANIST STORIES OF FUTURE CHANGE
ABSTRACT In this article, I conduct a contextual analysis of transhumanist conceptions of posthuman futures. Focusing on cryonics, nanotechnology, and artificial superintelligence technological projects through a study of primarily American sources from the 1960s onward, I identify three distinct conceptualizations of the posthuman future: Promethean ...

On extropy of past lifetime distribution [PDF]
Recently Qiu et al. (2017) have introduced residual extropy as measure of uncertainty in residual lifetime distributions analogues to residual entropy (1996). Also, they obtained some properties and applications of that.

Extropy estimation of Weibull distribution under upper records [PDF]
Recently, extropy has gained interest by the academic researchers. This work explores the features of parametric and non-parametric estimators based on upper record values under the a two-parameter Weibull distribution.

In this work, we reveal some distributional characteristics of concomitants of generalized order statistics (GOS) with parameters that are pairwise different, arising from iterated Farlie–Gumbel–Morgenstern (IFGM) family of bivariate distributions ...

Kernel Estimation of Cumulative Residual Tsallis Entropy and Its Dynamic Version under ρ-Mixing Dependent Data [PDF]
Tsallis introduced a non-logarithmic generalization of Shannon entropy, namely Tsallis entropy, which is non-extensive. Sati and Gupta proposed cumulative residual information based on this non-extensive entropy measure, namely cumulative residual ...

Analysis and Applications of Quantile Approach on Residual Extropy
Extropy is a measure of the uncertainty of a random variable. Motivated with the wideapplicability of quantile functions in modeling and analyzing statistical data, in this paper, we studyquantile version of the extropy from residual lifetime variable, "residual quantile extropy" in short.Unlike the residual extropy function, the residual quantile ...
