Multifunctional Crushing and Piezoresistive Self‐Sensing in Conductive Epoxy/CNT‐Coated Polyetherimide TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Feed efficiency of Nellore cattle selected for postweaning weight Eficiência alimentar em bovinos Nelore selecionados para peso pós-desmame

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Zootecnia, 2010
Two Nellore herds were compared, one selected for greater postweaning weight and the other, control, selected for average postweaning weight, to evaluate the effects of 29 years of selection on feed efficiency.

Assessing short-term feed efficiency and its association with biological markers in herbage-fed dairy cows

open access: yesAnimal
Feed efficiency is an important trait of dairy production. However, assessing feed efficiency is constrained by the associated cost and difficulty in measuring individual feed intake, especially on pastures. The objective of this study was to investigate

Growth performance, carcass traits and meat quality of growing pigs on different feeding regimes slaughtered at 145\u2009kg BW [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This study investigated the effects of feeding regime on growth performance, carcass traits and meat quality of pigs slaughtered at around 145 kg BW. A total of 96 barrows housed in eight pens were allotted to three groups in each pen.
