Age‐Dependent Correlation of Pulmonary Function Impairment and Aortic Arch Stiffness in Mice

open access: yesPediatric Discovery, EarlyView.
This study examined the relationship between aortic arch stiffness and lung function in aging mice. Multiple linear regression modeling showed moderate to strong correlations between the rise in aortic arch stiffness and changes in lung function as the mice progressively aged.

Proteome Analysis of Corynebacterium diphtheriae–Macrophage Interaction

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Contact of Corynebacterium diphtheriae with macrophages induces adaptations on both bacterial and cellular sides. The study presented here was aiming to shed light on the simultaneous intracellular adaptation of the bacteria and changes in the proteome of the phagocytes in response to the internalization of C. diphtheriae.

A low power algorithm for division in residue number system (RNS)

open access: closedConference Proceedings. IEEE Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (Cat. No.98TH8341), 2002
A new algorithm for computing division in residue number system (RNS) is presented. The algorithm imposes no restrictions on the dividend and the divisor (except zero divisor), and requires no initial quotient estimation. It eliminates the need for the multipliers used in the previously reported algorithms.
