Estimation of resilient modulus of cement-treated construction and demolition waste with performance-related properties

, 2021
Construction and demolition (C&D) waste is generated for 100 billion tonnes per annum globally, which has caused underground water contamination and farmland occupation when disposing the C&D waste by landfilling.

Resilient Modulus of Cement-Stabilized Phosphogypsum

Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering, 1996
This paper presents the findings of a preliminary study of the dependence of resilient modulus of cement-stabilized phosphogypsum on various material parameters. In particular, the dependence of the resilient modulus on cement content, dry unit weight, moisture content, and curing time was determined.

Laboratory testing and analysis of dynamic and static resilient modulus of subgrade soil under various influencing factors

Construction and Building Materials, 2019
In this study, dynamic and static resilient modulus of subgrade soil were conducted for six types of subgrade soil using the stress level and loading range on top of subgrade under moving vehicle loading. The influences of loading frequency, stress level,

Using artificial neural network and genetics algorithm to estimate the resilient modulus for stabilized subgrade and propose new empirical formula

, 2020
This paper presents the results of using rigorous modeling artificial neural network and genetic algorithm to examine the proper stabilization of very weak subgrade soils at high moisture contents.

Resilient modulus experiment of subgrade soil on different wetting–drying and salt washing–supplying paths

, 2021
Climate change and human action significantly impact the state of soil, particularly saline and loess soils in China's arid and semi-arid regions. Infrastructure is continuously built on these problematic soil areas, making it crucial to study the impact

Evaluation of resilient modulus constitutive equations for unbound coarse materials

, 2021
This paper presents the evaluation of some of the most commonly used constitutive equations related to the resilient modulus of unbound aggregates. In this study, the resilient modulus of 18 different aggregate base and subbase materials were measured in

Comparative study on resilient modulus of natural and post-quake recycled aggregates in bound and unbound pavement subbase applications

, 2021
The present paper deals with the potential employment of recycled debris in the field of road pavement engineering. In particular, the resilient behaviour of a recycled aggregate mixture produced from mixed post-quake debris is compared with that of a ...

A simple chart for the prediction of resilient modulus

Géotechnique, 1976
Considerable effort has been put into the task of obtaining characterization of pavement materials, and the laboratory equipment necessary for this task is both expensive and complex. This note presents a method of overcoming this problem for partially saturated cohesive subgrades.

Modulus of resilience as predictor for clinical wear of restorative resins

Dental Materials, 1992
Eight posterior restorative resins were tested with respect to flexural strength, modulus of elasticity, and modulus of resilience. The mechanical properties were correlated to the two-year results of clinical wear tests. Linear relationships were found between flexural strength and clinical wear and between modulus of resilience and clinical wear.
