Resilient moduli characterization of cement-treated silt [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The performance of a flexible pavement depends on the resilient modulus (MR) of subgrade soil. Thus, MR is a key design parameter for mechanistic-empirical pavement design of flexible pavements.

CONSIDERATION OF EXTENT OF RESILIENT MODULUS OF BITUMINOUS MIXTURES

open access: yesJournal of Japan Society of Civil Engineers, Ser. E1 (Pavement Engineering), 2012
In this research, the authors confirm maximum and minimum of resilient modulus of bituminous mixtures with various binder and aggregate when a repeated loading time is 0.1s. About mix portion, there is no difference between dense-graded asphalt mixture, course-graded asphalt and asphalt stabilization in average.

Application of resilient modulus test equipment and procedures for subgrade soils

open access: yes, 1985
This report is the first part of a two-part series. It describes the techniques involved in, and the results from, resilient modulus testing of subgrade soils that are typically found in Oregon. Two methods of testing were investigated: the triaxial' and

Resilient Modulus of Compacted Crushed Stone Aggregate Bases

open access: yes, 2007
In recent years, the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has recommended the use of resilient modulus for characterizing highway materials for pavement design.

Determining the resilient modulus of sandy subgrade using cyclic light weight deflectometer test

open access: yes, 2020
Resilient modulus is one of the important parameters used in the analysis and modelling of subgrade behaviour and it is directly related to the safety, economic and lifetime of roads structures.

Evaluating subgrade dynamic and static resilience modulus through enhanced testing techniques

open access: yesCase Studies in Construction Materials
This study investigates the impact of pavement structure self-weight on the dynamic and static resilient modulus of subgrade materials and proposes a prediction model to account for this effect.

Laboratory Performance Evaluation of CIR-Emulsion and it Comparison Against CIR-Form Test Result from Phase II, Final Report TR-578 Phase III, December 2009

open access: yes, 2009
Currently, no standard mix design procedure is available for CIR-emulsion in Iowa. The CIR-foam mix design process developed during the previous phase is applied for CIR-emulsion mixtures with varying emulsified asphalt contents.
