An Adaptive Parameter Estimation in a BTV Regularized Image Super-Resolution Reconstruction
Access to the fine spatial resolution has always been a hotspot in digital imaging. One way to improve resolution is to use signal post-processing techniques. In this study, an improved multi-frame image super-resolution (SR) algorithm is proposed. The

Metrical Positions and their Linguistic Realisations in Old Germanic Metres: A Typological Overview
This paper provides a typological account of Old Germanic metre by investigating its parametric variations that largely determine the metrical identities of the Old English Beowulf, the Old Saxon Heliand, and Old Norse eddic poetry (composed in ...

SmallTalk: a novel small‐sized fusion tag for peptide expression and purification
The SmallTalk fusion tag allows for the efficient expression and purification of soluble recombinant proteins or peptides in Escherichia coli. Testing with SmallTalk‐GFP confirmed that the proteins were soluble and folded correctly, while SmallTalk‐Bin1b maintained its antimicrobial activity against various bacterial isolates. This streamlined workflow

Detection by regular schemes in degree two
Using Lipman's results on resolution of two-dimensional singularities, we provide a form of resolution of singularities in codimension two for reduced quasi-excellent schemes.

HIFI: estimating DNA-DNA interaction frequency from Hi-C data at restriction-fragment resolution
Hi-C is a popular technique to map three-dimensional chromosome conformation. In principle, Hi-C’s resolution is only limited by the size of restriction fragments.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

A cost-effective strategy for nonoscillatory convection without clipping [PDF]
Clipping of narrow extrema and distortion of smooth profiles is a well known problem associated with so-called high resolution nonoscillatory convection schemes.
