We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Powersum formula for polynomials whose distinct roots are differentially independent over constants
We prove that the author's powersum formula yields a nonzero expression for a particular linear ordinary differential equation, called a resolvent, associated with a univariate polynomial whose coefficients lie in a differential field of characteristic ...

Weak convergence of a Mann-like algorithm for nonexpansive and accretive operators
Zero point problems of two accretive operators and fixed point problems of a nonexpansive mappings are investigated based on a Mann-like iterative algorithm. Weak convergence theorems are established in a Banach space.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

On the Resolvent of H+A$$^{*}$$+A
AbstractWe present a much shorter and streamlined proof of an improved version of the results previously given in [A. Posilicano: On the Self-Adjointness of $$H+A^{*}+A$$ H + A

We say that a topological group $G$ is partially box $κ$-resolvable if there exist a dense subset $B$ of $G$ and a subset $A $ of $G$, $|A|=κ$ such that the subsets $\{ aB: a\in A\}$ are pairwise disjoint. If $G=AB$ then $G$ is called box $κ$-resolvable. We prove two theorems. If a topological group $G$ contains an injective convergent sequence then $G$

In this issue of Chemistry & Biology, Dalli and colleagues report the chemical structures of resolvin D3 (RvD3) and aspirin-triggered RvD3, derived from the ω3-fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid. These compounds have a specific temporal appearance within inflammation resolution and display anti-inflammatory and proresolving properties.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Metric domains, holomorphic mappings and nonlinear semigroups
We study nonlinear semigroups of holomorphic mappings on certain domains in complex Banach spaces. We examine, in particular, their differentiability and their representations by exponential and other product formulas.
