Gluing semiclassical resolvent estimates via propagation of singularities
We use semiclassical propagation of singularities to give a general method for gluing together resolvent estimates. As an application we prove estimates for the analytic continuation of the resolvent of a Schr\"odinger operator for certain asymptotically

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Resolvent for Non-Self-Adjoint Differential Operator with Block-Triangular Operator Potential
A resolvent for a non-self-adjoint differential operator with a block-triangular operator potential, increasing at infinity, is constructed. Sufficient conditions under which the spectrum is real and discrete are obtained.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Spectral discretization errors in filtered subspace iteration [PDF]
We consider filtered subspace iteration for approximating a cluster of eigenvalues (and its associated eigenspace) of a (possibly unbounded) selfadjoint operator in a Hilbert space.

Building extended resolvent of heat operator via twisting transformations
Twisting transformations for the heat operator are introduced. They are used, at the same time, to superimpose a` la Darboux N solitons to a generic smooth, decaying at infinity, potential and to generate the corresponding Jost solutions.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

In this paper, we introduce and study a new system of variational inclusions which is called a system of nonlinear implicit variational inclusion problems with A-monotone and H-monotone operators in semi-inner product spaces.

Regularizing infinite sums of zeta-determinants
We present a new multiparameter resolvent trace expansion for elliptic operators, polyhomogeneous in both the resolvent and auxiliary variables. For elliptic operators on closed manifolds the expansion is a simple consequence of the parameter dependent ...

A New Identity for Resolvents of Operators [PDF]
A new identity for resolvents of operators is suggested. We show that in appropriate situations it is more convenient than the Hilbert identity. In particular, we establish a new invertibility condition for perturbed operators as well as new bounds for the spectrum of perturbed operators.
