Secure Resolving Sets in a Graph [PDF]
Let G = (V, E) be a simple, finite, and connected graph. A subset S = {u1, u2, …, uk} of V(G) is called a resolving set (locating set) if for any x ∈ V(G), the code of x with respect to S that is denoted by CS (x), which is defined as CS (x) = (d(u1, x), d(u2, x), .., d(uk, x)), is different for different x.

Spectral Gaps for Periodic Elliptic Operators with High Contrast: an Overview [PDF]
We discuss the band-gap structure and the integrated density of states for periodic elliptic operators in the Hilbert space $L_2(\R^m)$, for $m \ge 2$.

Functional analysis method for the M/G/1 queueing model with single working vacation
In this paper, we study the asymptotic property of underlying operator corresponding to the M/G/1 queueing model with single working vacation, where both service times in a regular busy period and in a working vacation period are function. We obtain that

Resolvent estimates with mild trapping [PDF]
We discuss recent progress in understanding the effects of certain trapping geometries on cut-off resolvent estimates, and thus on the qualititative behavior of linear evolution equations.

A CHARACTERIZATION OF LOCAL RESOLVENT SETS [PDF]
Let T be a bounded linear operator on a Banach space X. And let be the local resolvent set of T at . Then we prove that a complex number belongs to if and only if there is a sequence in X such that for n = 0, 1, 2,..., = x and is bounded.

On spectral question of the Cauchy-Riemann operator with homogeneous boundary value conditions
In this paper we consider the eigenvalue problem for the Cauchy - Riemann operator with homogeneous Dirichlet type boundary conditions. The statement of the problem is justified to the theorem of M. Otelbaev and A.N.

Sensitivity Analysis for Nonlinear Set-Valued Variational Equations in Banach Framework
The main purpose of this paper is to study the sensitivity analysis for nonlinear set-valued variational equations based on -resolvent operator technique. The obtained results encompass a broad model of results.

We want to add here another two proofs that the resolvent set of a linear operator is open. The first proof depends on the Hahn-Banach theorem and the second on the Neumann series construction of a linear isomorphism between Ran(A-\(\lambda)\) and Ran(A-\(\mu)\).

ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

ABSTRACT Blinatumomab has been shown to be highly effective for patients with pediatric B‐ALL and has recently become standard of care therapy. Due to its past use in the clinical trial setting, there is limited information available about real‐world administration.
