On the Spectrum of a Morphism of Quotient Hilbert Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications, 2006
In this paper we define the notion of spectrum for a morphism of quotient Hilbert spaces. The definition is the same with the one given by L.Waelbroeck but the proofs that the spectrum is a compact and nonempty set are different.

Nörlund means of the sequence of the iterates of a bounded linear operator, and spectral properties [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica
We are concerned here with relating the spectral properties of a bounded linear operator $T$ on a Banach space to the behaviour of the means $(1/{s(n)})\sum_{k=0}^n(\Delta s)(n-k)T^k$, where $s$ is a nondecreasing sequence of positive real numbers, and $\

Resolvability of A-, CA- and PCA-sets in compacta

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 1997
For a cardinal \(\kappa\), a space \(X=(X,{\mathcal T})\) is said to be \(\kappa\)-resolvable if \({\mathcal P}(X)\) contains \(\kappa\)-many pairwise disjoint \(\mathcal T\)-dense sets; in this terminology, \(X\) is resolvable if \(X\) is 2-resolvable, and \(X\) is maximally resolvable if \(X\) is \(\Delta(X)\)-resolvable, where \(\Delta(X)=\min\{|U|:\

Properties of Fuzzy Resolving Set

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT), 2021
In a fuzzy graph , for a subset  of , the representation of  with respect to  in terms of strength of connectedness of vertices are distinct then  is called the fuzzy resolving set of . In this article, we discuss the properties of fuzzy resolving set and fuzzy resolving number.

The Role of Chemotherapy in Pediatric Myoepithelial Carcinoma: A Systematic Review of the Literature

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Myoepithelial carcinoma (MEC) in pediatric patients is a rare and aggressive malignancy characterized by heterogeneous morphology and variable molecular features. The optimal role of chemotherapy remains unclear. We conducted a systematic review according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines to evaluate chemotherapy in pediatric and young‐adult patients ...

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...

An Ishikawa-Hybrid Proximal Point Algorithm for Nonlinear Set-Valued Inclusions Problem Based on (A,η)-Accretive Framework

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2010
A general nonlinear framework for an Ishikawa-hybrid proximal point algorithm using the notion of (A,η)-accretive is developed. Convergence analysis for the algorithm of solving a nonlinear set-valued inclusions problem and existence analysis of ...

Secretory Phospholipase A2 in Patients With Sickle Cell Disease Hospitalized for Vaso‐Occlusive Pain Episodes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) is an inflammatory mediator linked to acute chest syndrome (ACS) in sickle cell disease (SCD), a serious complication that can develop during an acute vaso‐occlusive pain episode (VOE). Plasma sPLA2 levels have been proposed as a potential biomarker for predicting ACS onset.

Strong Convergence of Iterative Algorithm for a New System of Generalized H·,·-η-Cocoercive Operator Inclusions in Banach Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We introduce and study a new system of generalized H·,·-η-cocoercive operator inclusions in Banach spaces. Using the resolvent operator technique associated with H·,·-η-cocoercive operators, we suggest and analyze a new generalized algorithm of nonlinear
