Hille–Yosida-Type Theorem for Fractional Differential Equations with Dzhrbashyan–Nersesyan Derivative

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
It is a well-known fact that the Dzhrbashyan–Nersesyan fractional derivative includes as particular cases the fractional derivatives of Riemann–Liouville, Gerasimov–Caputo, and Hilfer.

The Generalization of the Decomposition of Functions by Energy Operators

open access: yes, 2014
This work starts with the introduction of a family of differential energy operators. Energy operators ($Psi_R^+$, $Psi_R^-$) were defined together with a method to decompose the wave equation in a previous work.

Symmetries and entanglement features of inner-mode resolved correlations of interfering nonidentical photons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Multiphoton quantum interference underpins fundamental tests of quantum mechanics and quantum technologies. Consequently, the detrimental effect of photon distinguishability in multiphoton interference experiments can be catastrophic.

Pediatric Oncology Nursing Competencies in Latin America and the Caribbean: A Scoping Review to Inform Practice, Education, and Research

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Nurses are central to cancer care for children and adolescents, yet no comprehensive synthesis has defined essential core competencies for pediatric oncology nursing (PON) practice internationally, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

Computing noncommutative deformations of presheaves and sheaves of modules

open access: yes, 2007
We describe a noncommutative deformation theory for presheaves and sheaves of modules that generalizes the commutative deformation theory of these global algebraic structures, and the noncommutative deformation theory of modules over algebras due to ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Universal nonclassicality witnesses for harmonic oscillators

open access: yes, 2012
It is shown that a nonclassicality witness, whose expectation value can be measured for all quantum states, can be constructed from every nonclassicality filter. This finding leads to a set of universal witnesses, parameterized by only three real numbers,

High-gradient operators in perturbed Wess-Zumino-Witten field theories in two dimensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Many classes of non-linear sigma models (NLSMs) are known to contain composite operators with an arbitrary number 2s of derivatives ("high-gradient operators") which appear to become strongly relevant within RG calculations at one (or fixed higher) loop ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Decision Algorithm for q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Information Based on Schweizer-Sklar Aggregation Operators With Applications in Agricultural Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access
The multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) technique is a dominant process for resolving genuine real-life applications and investigating an ideal solution by considering appropriate criteria or attributes. The operational laws of Schweizer-Sklar t-norms
