Pitch angle diffusion by bounce resonance
Abstract The paper aims at removing the restriction x ⪡ 1 (where x is the cosine of the equatorial pitch angle) in the theory of pitch angle diffusion by bounce resonance. When the fourth order anharmonicity term is included in the expansion of the magnetic field around the equator, the parallel displacement of a particle becomes a superposition of ...

Giant Angle-Resonant Polariton Amplification
physica status solidi (b), 2000We discuss recent theoretical results on the polariton parametric amplification from semiconductor microcavities in the strong exciton-photon coupling regime. A microscopic treatment of the interacting polariton system leads to a clear description of the phase-matched four-polariton mixing.

Magnetic resonance imaging of the cerebello-pontine angle
The British Journal of Radiology, 1986A variety of extra-axial lesions occurring at the cerebello-pontine angle was examined by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Differences in spin sequence characteristics were found between neurilemmomas and meningiomas, with neurilemmomas exhibiting a greater increase in T2 than meningiomas.

Angle-insensitive dual-functional resonators combining cavity mode resonance and magnetic resonance
Optics Letters, 2019An angle-insensitive dual-functional resonator composed of a compound metallic grating is proposed and characterized numerically. The resonator exhibits different response characteristics for TE and TM polarization, thus enabling two functions, corresponding to a high-sensitivity sensor and a low Q-factor absorber.
