Resonant Frequencies of Rectangular Dlekctric Resonators
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1980The resonant frequencies of isolated dielectric resonators of rectangular shape are calculated using the dielectric waveguide model. The waveguide treatment of the rectangular dielectric rod is solved using the approximate semianalytical techniques of Marcatili, Knox, and Toulios.

Accurate Resonant Frequencies of Dielectric Resonators
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1977The applications of dielectric resonators are currently of considerable interest in microwave integrated circuits. The design of a dielectric resonator depends on its natural resonant frequencies. Since exact solutions of dielectric rectangular and cylindrical resonators cannot be rigorously computed a new and more accurate method has been developed to

Resonant frequencies of cylindrical Helmholtz resonators
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1975A simple analysis predicts the Helmholtz and higher modes of cylindrical resonators. Formulas for the quarter-wave tube, the closed tube, and the classic Helmholtz resonator are special cases. It is found that the classic Helmholtz formula begins to lose accuracy for resonator lengths L≳λ/16.

Resonant Frequency of Slotted Ring Resonator
30th European Microwave Conference, 2000, 2000The slotted ring resonator has some promising features for the realisation of compact microwave filters. For the first time, using the finite difference technique and conformal mapping method, the effects of geometrical parameters (i.e.: the resonator length, inner radius, gap width and wall thickness) on the resonant frequency of this resonator, are ...

Acoustic resonance frequencies of deformed spherical resonators. II
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1982The effects of imperfect spherical shape on the modes of a spherical acoustic resonator are considered. The resonator boundary is described by a series of spherical harmonics r=a+εa∑ clkYlk, where ε is a small parameter. It is convenient to summarize the results by considering deformations which do not change the resonator volume.

Frequency-resonance-enhanced vibrational resonance in bistable systems
Physical Review E, 2011The dynamics in an overdamped bistable system subject to the action of two periodic forces (assuming their frequencies are ω and Ω, and amplitudes are A and B, respectively) is studied. For the usual vibrational resonance, the nonmonotonic dependence of signal output of the low frequency ω on the change of B for a fixed Ω, the condition Ω≫ω is always ...

Resonant Frequencies of Circular Substrate Integrated Resonators
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2008In this letter, the characterization of circular resonators realized in substrate integrated waveguide technology is presented. Resonances are found by setting up the equations of the scattering for an ensemble of metallic posts in parallel plates waveguide and considering the nontrivial solution to the corresponding homogeneous problem.

Resonant lines for frequency control
Electrical Engineering, 1935Vacuum tube oscillators for radio frequency signals above 25 megacycles may be controlled with a high degree of precision by resonant lines, and at lower frequencies may be used to obtain a larger power output than is obtainable from crystal oscillators.

Resonant frequency of rectangular dielectric resonator antenna
2017 8th Annual Industrial Automation and Electromechanical Engineering Conference (IEMECON), 2017In this paper, Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna (RDRA) is investigated theoretically. To investigate the RDRA, the antenna is assumed as a cavity. The wave equation is solved inside the cavity antenna. Simple transcendental equation is given here to predict the resonant frequency of RDRA. One antenna prototype is simulated to verify our theory.

Resonant frequency tunableness of solidly mounted resonators
Proceedings of the 2010 Symposium on Piezoelectricity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications, 2010The performance of solidly mounted resonator (SMR) depends on the thickness control of each layer. Since thickness variation is inevitable in film deposition, the resonant frequency will shift from the desired value. In order to calculate the required electrode thickness for a given resonant frequency, an SMR is treated as a combination of two ...
