Dual-Mode Resonant Flyback Single Power-Conversion Inverter
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2021This article presents a dual-mode resonant flyback single power-conversion inverter with reduced number of power components. Unlike conventional flyback converters, it transfers power in a resonant manner during the first half of the switching period and in a linear way during the remaining half of the switching period.

High-frequency series-resonant DC link power conversion
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1992An AC/DC conversion scheme is presented which eliminates the need for self-commutated devices and requires only 12 thyristors for full double bridge AC to AC power conversion. The system utilizes a series resonant DC link between the AC/DC and DC/AC converters.

Zero-Ripple-Resonant Converters - A New Class in Resonant Power Conversion
Industrial Electronics Society (IECON ), Annual Conference of IEEE, 2006The main advantage of the resonant power conversion technique is its ability to eliminate turn on or turn off loss on semiconductor power devices, so that the converter can operate efficiently at multi-MHz switching frequency and yield higher power density compared to the Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM) technique.

Reliability considerations in pulsed power resonant conversion
Microelectronics Reliability, 2009Abstract This work is about the analysis of reliability issues in pulsed power resonant converters, which feature fairly unique operational characteristics, differentiating them substantially from more common power electronics applications (e.g., inverters, dc–dc converters).

Resonant switching power conversion technique
1975 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 1975A method for resonant switching applicable to dc to dc power conversion is presented. Zero current switching together with resonant control of current waveforms avoids solid state power device second breakdown stresses encountered with high voltage switching in conventional circuitry.

High-Q resonator with integrated capacitance for resonant power conversion
2017 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2017Resonant power conversion at MHz frequencies is useful for miniaturization of power electronics, but requires resonators or inductors with high efficiency. Because litz wire is not effective above several MHz, an alternative winding structure for inductors is required for operation at these frequencies. In this paper, we present resonators with a multi-
