Testing of a Low-Cost Dry Cell Prototype for Oxyhydrogen Production
This work aims to study the production of oxyhydrogen gas by a small low-cost prototype consisting of six dry cells. Firstly, a molecular composition study of the gas was carried out, presenting concentrations of 67% H2 and 28% O2. The deviation from the

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Measures of eco-efficiencyâ\u80\u94broadly understood as "getting more from less"â\u80\u94often include an economic and an environmental variable. The latter is often seen as the more problematic variable, particularly when used in relation to impacts of

Resource Sharing Efficiency in Network Slicing [PDF]
The economic sustainability of future mobile networks will largely depend on the strong specialization of its offered services. Network operators will need to provide added value to their tenants, by moving from the traditional one-size-fits-all strategy to a set of virtual end-to-end instances of a common physical infrastructure, named network slices,

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

The Practice of Self-provision in Suburban Detached Homes
Do practices of self-provision such as the self-organized adaptation of homes, neighbourly help and the contracting of tradespeople, etc. contribute to the re-constitution of local communities in suburban areas?

Efficient Location of Resources in Cylindrical Networks [PDF]
The location of resources in a network satisfying some optimization property is a classical combinatorial problem that can be modeled and solved by using graphs. Key tools in this problem are the domination-type properties, which have been defined and widely studied in different types of graph models, such as undirected and directed graphs, finite and ...

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...
