Human Nervous System‐Based Biohybrid Robot‐On‐A‐Chip with Sensing Function for Toxicity Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human nervous system‐based biohybrid robot‐on‐a chip with eye function as sensing system in addition to brain/motor neuron/muscle functions is proposed. Upon light stimulation, the eye assembloid generates electrophysiological signals, which are transmitted through the cerebral organoid and motor neuron spheroid, inducing muscle movement.

Gompertz Law‐Based Biological Age (GOLD BioAge): A Simple and Practical Measurement of Biological Ageing to Capture Morbidity and Mortality Risks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Gompertz law‐based biological age metric (GOLD BioAge) introduces interpretable convenient and interpretable calculations to capture mortality, disease, and frailty risks. Its applications to proteomics and metabolomics (ProtAge and MetAge) demonstrate clinical potential to enhance aging evaluation and prevent age‐related diseases.

Respiration Drives Dynamic Metal–Organic Framework for Smart Photoresponse to Volatile Toxic Vapors and Their Photodynamic Sterilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The flexible AIEgen (H4TPPE) with obvious molecular rotor structure is used as a linker to connect with the octahedral Zr6O4(OH)8(H2O)4 cluster‐based SBU to obtain the first smart luminescent MOF (Zr‐TPE‐MOF) with dynamic respiration driven by toxic vapors.

Potent Cross‐neutralizing Antibodies Reveal Vulnerabilities of Henipavirus Fusion Glycoprotein

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hendra and Nipah viruses (HNVs) pose significant threats to global health. This work reports potent cross‐neutralizing antibodies targeting the fusion glycoprotein (F) and reveals shared features of these antibodies and vulnerabilities of F, thereby guiding the rational design of countermeasures against HNVs and similar pathogens.
