Shape‐Reconfigurable Crack‐Based Strain Sensor with Ultrahigh and Tunable Sensitivity
A highly sensitive crack‐based sensor with tunable strain detection capabilities is demonstrated through controlled nanocrack formation in a line‐patterned shape memory polymer substrate. The sensor design integrates thermoplastic polyurethane and poly(lactic acid), enabling thermo‐responsive reconfiguration of crack geometry.

Acute Respiratory Failure due to Alveolar Hemorrhage after Exposure to Organic Dust [PDF]
Diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is associated with severe outcomes. We report a case of acute respiratory failure that required mechanical ventilation and was clinically and pathologically diagnosed as DAH related to exposure to organic dust. A 39-year-

Collaborative Three-Tier Architecture Non-contact Respiratory Rate Monitoring using Target Tracking and False Peaks Eliminating Algorithms [PDF]
Monitoring the respiratory rate is crucial for helping us identify respiratory disorders. Devices for conventional respiratory monitoring are inconvenient and scarcely available. Recent research has demonstrated the ability of non-contact technologies, such as photoplethysmography and infrared thermography, to gather respiratory signals from the face ...

Rapid Extraction of Respiratory Waveforms from Photoplethysmography: A Deep Encoder Approach [PDF]
Much of the information of breathing is contained within the photoplethysmography (PPG) signal, through changes in venous blood flow, heart rate and stroke volume. We aim to leverage this fact, by employing a novel deep learning framework which is a based on a repurposed convolutional autoencoder.
