SELECTION PRINCIPLES OF INITIAL ETIOTROPIC THERAPY FOR ACUTE UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS IN CHILDREN

open access: yesМедицинский совет, 2017
Acute upper respiratory tract infections maintain leadership in the overall morbidity patterns of the Russian Federation population. The highest prevalence of acute respiratory infections is reported in the pediatric population.

Viruses associated with pneumonia in adults. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Viral pneumonia, which is typically associated with disease in childhood, is increasingly recognized as causing problems in adults. Certain viruses, such as influenza virus, can attack fully immunocompetent adults, but many viruses take advantage of more-

MVP Inhibits Influenza A Virus‐Induced Ferroptosis by Targeting IRF1 and Increasing FSP1 Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During IAV infection, MVP inhibits IRF1 polyubiquitination, thereby relieving IRF1‐mediated transcriptional inhibition of FSP1. Consequently, this leads to an upregulation of FSP1 expression, thereby reinforcing the inhibition of ferroptosis. In addition, the MVP can promote myristoylation and ubiquitination of FSP1, enabling its membrane localization ...

FEATURES OF EMERGING MORBIDITY PATTERN FOR VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF MILITARY PERSONNEL WITH ACUTE RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS OF THE UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT.

open access: yesИнфекция и иммунитет, 2019
Here we provide insights into conditions behind developing morbidity pattern in various categories of military personnel (a call-up for military service in military units and compounds, as well as cadets in military educational organizations of the ...

Machine‐Learning Microfluidic Minute‐Scale Microorganism Metrics Monitoring(M6)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT On‐site monitoring of microorganisms remains challenging because of low concentrations, strong background interference, and dynamic aerosol diffusion, particularly for aerosol‐transmitted pathogens. Here, we report a rapid detection platform that integrates a Puri‐focusing microfluidic chip, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and ...

Transdermal Delivery of an mRNA‐Liposome Vaccine via Dissolving Microneedle to Preserve Vaccine Activity and Enhance Immune Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An mRNA‐liposome vaccine via dissolving microneedles (ML‐DMN) enables efficient skin‐targeted delivery while preserving mRNA integrity and allowing sustained antigen expression. Unlike intramuscular (IM) injection, ML‐DMN engages skin‐resident immune cells, activates antigen‐presenting cells (APCs), and induces strong T cell and cytokine responses at ...

Endometrial Epithelial Lactate Deficiency Drives CD8+ T‐Cells Dysregulation in Unexplained Recurrent Implantation Failure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Unexplained recurrent implantation failure (RIF) represents a significant clinical challenge. Our results demonstrate that reduced lactate production in the RIF endometrium impairs the suppression of cytotoxic CD8+ T‑cells, allowing their proliferation and thereby disrupting the local immune balance essential for successful embryo implantation.
