The Potential of Restricted PHY Cooperation for the Downlink of LTE-Advanced

2011 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Fall), 2011
We investigate the potential of restricted PHY co- operation for the downlink of 4G networks. The cooperation is restricted to a cluster of eNodeBs. We distinguish between low and high mobility users, and propose two appropriate cooperation methods. The goal is to guarantee high user rates even on cell edges.

The bounded core for games with restricted cooperation

Automation and Remote Control, 2016
Summary: A game with restricted cooperation is a triple \((N,v,\Omega)\), where \(N\) is a finite set of players, \(\Omega\subset 2^N\) is a non-empty collection of feasible coalitions such that \(N\in \Omega\), and \(v:\Omega\to R\) is a characteristic function.

PARTITIONING GAMES WITH RESTRICTED COOPERATION

International Game Theory Review, 2009
Partitioning games and games with restricted cooperation are general games which include large classes of different and important cooperative games. In this paper we combined both concepts and prove a generalization of the theorem of Quint [1991] which characterizes the core of the game by means of an appropriate linear program.

Cooperation of nonsyngeneic tolerant lymphocytes: Genetic restriction

Cellular Immunology, 1977
Abstract We have used a previously devised in vivo experimental model to investigate the ability of mouse thymus-dependent (T) and bone marrow-derived (B) lymphocytes to cooperate in immune (humoral) rejection of rat Yoshida ascites sarcoma (YAS).

Searching restricted documents in a cooperative search engine

24th International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems Workshops, 2004. Proceedings., 2004
Centralized search engines have difficulties retrieving fresh information. Thus, we developed a distributed search engine for intranets, named the cooperative search engine (CSE). In an intranet, each section of an organization has two sorts of documents; one public documents, the other private or secret documents.

Receptor Mobility and its Cooperative Restriction by Ligands

Immunological Communications, 1976
The functional significance of membrane fluidity and receptor mobility in lymphoid cells has been studied in the recent literature. Although far from clarified, the role of membrane fluidity in achieving control over cell activity is probably important; it allows cooperative interactions over long distances.

The value in games with restricted cooperation [PDF]

open access: possible, 2015
We consider cooperative games in which the cooperation among players is restricted by a set system, which outlines the set of feasible coalitions that actually can be formed by players in the game. In our setting, the structure of this set system is completely free, and the only restriction is that the empty set belongs to it.
