ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...

Conformal restriction: the radial case [PDF]
We describe all random sets that satisfy the radial conformal restriction property, therefore providing the analogue in the radial case of results of Lawler, Schramm and Werner in the chordal case.Comment: Accepted for publication by Stochastic Processes

Causal Domain Restriction for Eikonal Equations
Many applications require efficient methods for solving continuous shortest path problems. Such paths can be viewed as characteristics of static Hamilton-Jacobi equations.

Results of the Childhood Cancer and Leukaemia Group's United Kingdom Relapsed Wilms Tumour Trial
ABSTRACT Background The United Kingdom relapsed Wilms tumour (UKW‐R) trial aimed to improve the historically low survival rates after relapse of Wilms tumour (WT) through a prospective national risk‐stratified protocol. The trial also evaluated efficacy and toxicity of high‐dose melphalan.

Restricting the restrictive relativizer [PDF]
Abstract We investigate internal and stylistic factors affecting binary and ternary relativizer choice in subject (that vs which) and non-subject (that vs which vs zero) relative clauses. We employ a novel methodological approach to predicting relativizers: Bayesian regression modeling with the dimensional reduction of model inputs via factor analysis.

Effect of aerobic exposure time and use of inoculants on chemical, fermentative, and digestibility characteristics of relocated whole-plant corn silages [PDF]
The current study evaluated the impact of aerobic exposure time (ET) and microbial inoculants (MI) on the fermentative and microbiological characteristics and the nutritional value of relocated whole-plant corn silage (WPCS).

Identification region of the potential outcome distributions under instrument independence [PDF]
This paper examines identification power of the instrument exogeneity assumption in the treatment effect model. We derive the identification region: The set of potential outcome distributions that are compatible with data and the model restriction.
