Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
Pediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

loxP-Directed Cloning: Use of Cre Recombinase as a Universal Restriction Enzyme
BioTechniques, 2001 We have developed a novel way to use the Cre/loxP system for in vitro manipulation of DNA and a technique to clone DNA into circular episomes. The method is fast, reliable, and allows flexible cloning of DNA fragments into episomes containing a loxP site.

Restriction and modification of deoxyarchaeosine (dG+)-containing phage 9 g DNA
Scientific Reports, 2017 E. coli phage 9 g contains the modified base deoxyarchaeosine (dG+) in its genome. The phage encodes its own primase, DNA ligase, DNA polymerase, and enzymes necessary to synthesize and incorporate dG+.
