DESI DR2 results. II. Measurements of baryon acoustic oscillations and cosmological constraints

Physical Review D
We present baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) measurements from more than 14 million galaxies and quasars drawn from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Data Release 2 (DR2), based on three years of operation.

Elimination and resultants.2. Multivariate resultants

IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 1995
In part 1 we explained how resultants apply to problems in computer graphics and geometric modeling. This tutorial concerns methods for constructing multivariate resultants, including methods for bidegree and equal-degree polynomial equations. It also describes u-resultants, a powerful use of standard resultants. >

Arguments and Results

The Computer Journal, 2000
Summary: If an object-oriented program is a collection of communicating objects, then the objects' protocols define the languages the program speaks. Unfortunately, protocols are difficult to design in isolation, so many programs' protocols are not as well designed as they could be. This paper presents six patterns which describe how objects' protocols

Results of Malleostapediopexy

Auris Nasus Larynx, 1983
In the eight years from 1973 to 1980, we performed tympanoplasty on approximately 350 cases, in 50 of which malleostapediopexy was undertaken. Postoperative hearing improvement occurred in 86%. Hearing further improved as compared with that at the third postoperative week occurred in 17 of 31 long-term follow-up cases (55%).

On a Result of Bruns

Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1990
AbstractBruns' Theorem states that the classical integrals of the gravitational three-body problem generate all algebraic integrals. We show that the first step in his proof, together with Ziglin's non-integrability criterion for complex systems, can be used to prove the non-existence of energy independent algebraic integrals in certain real analytic ...

Budgeting for Results

The Health Care Manager, 2019
Budgeting is a mandatory yet misunderstood function in most organizations because of its current focus on estimating revenues and expenses. A budget should be a roadmap specifying in dollars and cents organizational goals and how management performance will be assessed.

Results and Discussion of the Results

2019
This chapter aims to share and discuss the data analysis results and relate them to previous studies. Some tentative proposals and arguments are put forward. The discussion is split into five sections. The first section covers the relationship between organizational culture types and customer results, the second the relationship between culture types ...

Results of Tympanoplasty

Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1960
I will occupy myself with the otological results of tympanoplasty as I see them today. In Figure 1, I remind you of the classification which I have suggested. There is a certain mix-up in classifications, and each of us tries to have his own. This makes it very difficult to compare results.

Presenting the results

1997
At the end of this chapter you should be able to: 1. appreciate the value of effective descriptive and inferential statistics when presenting the results of a study; 2. produce a variety of descriptive statistics designed to describe and summarise data; 3.
