Reticular erythematous mucinosis (REM) is a rare form of primary cutaneous mucinosis, most often involving the midline of the upper chest or back in middle-aged women. REM bears clinical and histopathologic resemblance to lupus erythematosus tumidus (LET), dermatomyositis, scleredema, and lichen myxedematosus.
