Adipose‐Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Isolation, Origin, Phenotype Applications, and Challenges

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
Bridging basic biology to clinical translation, this review systematically explores the in vivo origins and evolving isolation techniques of AD‐MSCs. We dissect their diverse phenotype applications orchestrated by immunometabolic reprogramming, mitochondrial transfer, and extracellular vesicles.

Targeted Protein Degradation: From Molecular Mechanisms to Emerging Therapeutic Strategies

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
Graphical overview of targeted protein degradation: mechanisms, molecular determinants, delivery strategies, and therapeutic development. This graphical abstract summarizes the major degradation pathways involved in targeted protein degradation, including the ubiquitin–proteasome system, endocytosis–lysosome pathway, and autophagy‐dependent degradation.

Primary Erythrocytosis (Polycythaemia) in a Neutered Male Dog Presenting With Right Hindlimb Lameness

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.
A young dog presented with progressive unilateral hindlimb lameness and marked erythrocytosis. Diagnostic investigations excluded secondary causes and confirmed primary erythrocytosis. Targeted vascular ultrasonography identified a right external iliac venous thrombus as the suspected cause of lameness.

In Vivo Partial Cell Reprogramming With Yamanaka Factors Reduced Ischemic Brain Damage in Aging Mice

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 11, November 2026.
Short‐term cyclic partial reprogramming with Yamanaka factors protects aged mice from ischemic brain injury, preserving cognitive function, myelin integrity, and neuronal density, supporting partial reprogramming as a promising neuroprotective intervention in aging.

TOP2A Maintains Heterochromatin Stability by Sustaining LMNB1 Expression to Counteract Senescence

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 11, November 2026.
Depletion of TOP2A accelerates MSC senescence and disrupts heterochromatin integrity. TOP2A directly regulates LMNB1 expression to maintain MSC nuclear integrity and epigenomic stability. Overexpression of TOP2A counteracts MSC senescence through Lamin B1‐mediated chromatin reorganization and epigenomic stabilization.

Determinant Factors of Self‐Care Deficit in People With Chronic Wounds: A Scoping Review

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, Volume 82, Issue 11, Page 9609-9625, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims To identify and synthesise the scientific evidence on determinants of self‐care deficits in people with chronic wounds. Design Scoping review based on the Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines. Methods This scoping review was conducted by a review team responsible for study screening, data extraction and synthesis.
