Retrial queues with constant retrial times
The paper under review studies a single server queueing system without buffer. Customers arrive in the queue according to a Poisson process with rate \(\lambda\) and immediately receive the service, if the server is available. If the server is busy, the customer joins the orbit and retries after a deterministic time \(S\).

Asymptotic Diffusion Analysis of Multi-Server Retrial Queue with Hyper-Exponential Service
A multi-server retrial queue with a hyper-exponential service time is considered in this paper. The study is performed by the method of asymptotic diffusion analysis under the condition of long delay in orbit.

The effect of Retrial Rate on the M/G/1 Retrial Queueing System [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the main model of M/G/I retrial queueing system. We will introduce the previous model with some important properties that affect the retrial system state. Also, the joint distribution of the server state and the length of queue

Performance analysis of an M/G/1 retrial G-queue with feedback under working breakdown services [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate a new type of retrial queueing model with feedback and working breakdown services. The regular busy server may become defective by disasters (negative customers) at any point of time.

Stability of retrial queues with versatile retrial policy [PDF]
We consider in this paper the stability of retrial queues with a versatile retrial policy. We obtain sufficient conditions for the stability by the strong coupling convergence to a stationary ergodic regime for various models of retrial queues including a model with two types of customers, a model with breakdowns of the server, a model with negative ...

A literature review on retrial queueing system with Bernoulli vacation [PDF]
The retrial phenomenon occurs inherently in a wide range of queueing systems. The majority of retrial queueing models do not account for vacation. However, in practice, retrial queueing systems undergo vacations for maintenance or other reasons.

Tail Asymptotics for a Retrial Queue with Bernoulli Schedule
In this paper, we study the asymptotic behaviour of the tail probability of the number of customers in the steady-state M/G/1 retrial queue with Bernoulli schedule, under the assumption that the service time distribution has a regularly varying tail ...

On a batch arrival queuing system equipped with a stand-by server during vacation periods or the repairs times of the main server [PDF]
We study a queuing system which is equipped with a stand-by server in addition to the main server. The stand-by server provides service to customers only during the period of absence of the main server when either the main server is on a vacation or it ...

Mixed loss and delay retrial queueing system with two classes of customers
This paper is concerned with the analysis of a single-server batch arrival retrial queue with two classes of customers. In the case of blocking, the class-1 customers leave the system forever whereas the class-2 customers leave the service area and enter
