Equilibrium in a Queueing System with Retrials
We find an equilibrium in a single-server queueing system with retrials and strategic timing of the customers. We consider a set of customers, each of which must decide when to arrive to a queueing system during a fixed period of time.

Analysis of a Semi-Open Queuing Network with a State Dependent Marked Markovian Arrival Process, Customers Retrials and Impatience [PDF]
We consider a queuing network with single-server nodes and heterogeneous customers. The number of customers, which can obtain service simultaneously, is restricted.

Factors contributing to chronic ankle instability in parcel delivery workers based on machine learning techniques [PDF]
Background Ankle injuries in parcel delivery workers (PDWs) are most often caused by trips. Ankle sprains have high recurrence rates and are associated with chronic ankle instability (CAI).

A finite source retrial queueing inventory system with stock dependent arrival and heterogeneous servers [PDF]
This article discusses a finite-source stock-dependent stochastic inventory system with multiple servers and a retrial facility. The system can store a maximum of S items, and the lifetime of each item is exponentially distributed.

Output process of the M|GI|1 is an asymptotical renewal process [PDF]
Most of the studies on models with retrials are devoted to the research of the number of applications in the system or in the source of repeated calls using asymptotic and numerical approaches or simulation.

The effect of Retrial Rate on the M/G/1 Retrial Queueing System [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the main model of M/G/I retrial queueing system. We will introduce the previous model with some important properties that affect the retrial system state. Also, the joint distribution of the server state and the length of queue

On the Equilibrium in a Queuing System with Retrials and Strategic Arrivals
This paper considers a callback single-server system with an orbit and a First-Come First-Served (FCFS) service discipline. Customers (users, clients) that encounter a busy server are sent into orbit and then have the option to retry service after an ...

Stability of retrial queues with versatile retrial policy [PDF]
We consider in this paper the stability of retrial queues with a versatile retrial policy. We obtain sufficient conditions for the stability by the strong coupling convergence to a stationary ergodic regime for various models of retrial queues including a model with two types of customers, a model with breakdowns of the server, a model with negative ...
