Robust Synthesis Algorithm for Directional Modulation Signal with Array Manifold Vectors Uncertainty
Directional modulation (DM) has become a new research hotspot of physical layer security (PLS) communication at the transmitter side. In this paper, we propose a robust synthesis algorithm for DM signal under the condition of the array manifold vectors perturbation.

Millimeter‐wave (mmWave) networks with the frequency spectrum ranging from 30 GHz (with wavelength 10 mm) to 300 GHz (with wavelength 1 mm), can support massive wireless data in fifth‐generation (5G) systems. Importantly, large colocated antenna elements can be exploited at the base station (BS) to facilitate beam‐steering synthesis along the users ...

Frequency offset retrodirective antenna array
A new architecture for the Van Atta self-steering array is presented. Active antenna techniques are used to realise a compact self-steering array with enhanced retrodirective properties. The experimental performance of the array is demonstrated and a technique is described which compensates for the beam pointing error induced by antenna array element ...

24 GHz active retrodirective antenna array
A 24 GHz active Van Atta planar antenna array proposed for increasing the vehicle radar echo in a vehicle collision avoidance system is designed and demonstrated. The antenna array contains two parallel linear sub-arrays. Each sub-array is composed of four receiving microstrip antennas, four transmitting microstrip antennas and four transistor ...

Neural Network–Assisted Metasurface Retroreflector With Wide‐Angle Adaptivity
This work proposes a wide‐angle, multi‐polarization, self‐sensing, and self‐adaptive intelligent metasurface retroreflector, with a planar profile and ultrathin thickness. By integrating a pre‐trained artificial neural network (ANN), the metasurface retroreflector can recognize the incident angle and promptly adapt to changes in the incoming wave.
