An Active Beam‐Reconfigurable Retrodirective Array
The proposed beam‐reconfigurable retrodirective array not only enables retroreflection toward the signal source but also achieves flexible beam steering via a tunable reflection plate, offering a viable solution for real‐time multipoint communication and multitarget wireless power transfer.

Neural Network–Assisted Metasurface Retroreflector With Wide‐Angle Adaptivity
This work proposes a wide‐angle, multi‐polarization, self‐sensing, and self‐adaptive intelligent metasurface retroreflector, with a planar profile and ultrathin thickness. By integrating a pre‐trained artificial neural network (ANN), the metasurface retroreflector can recognize the incident angle and promptly adapt to changes in the incoming wave.

Maxwell Fisheye Lens Based Retrodirective Array [PDF]
AbstractA Maxwell fisheye lens using parallel plate index grading is presented in this study to develop a passive retrodirective antenna array. As a proof-of-concept a design frequency of 10 GHz was selected for fabrication and experiment. The design principals of the lens are discussed, which enables 85% energy flow at the drain probe (also referred ...

Bow-tie retrodirective rectenna
A novel bow-tie retrodirective rectenna designed at 5.8 GHz is proposed. The new retrodirective rectenna combines a traditional rectenna with a retrodirective array. The new retrodirective rectenna array can automatically steer its main beam towards the power source and hence is not sensitive to the power incident angle changes.

Experimental Simulation of Retrodirective Cross-Eye Jamming [PDF]
Experimental measurements that accurately simulate the effect of a retrodirective cross-eye jammer on a monopulse radar are described. The accuracy of a recently published extended analysis of retrodirective cross-eye jamming and the limitations of the conventional phase-front analysis of cross-eye jamming are illustrated by the experiments.

A Tri‐Functional Active Reconfigurable Retrodirective Array
This paper presents a broadband active reconfigurable retrodirective array system operating from 6.4 to 11.2 GHz, which integrates a filtering magneto‐electric dipole antenna with inherent out‐of‐band suppression and a function‐switching network to support three modes: absorption, active retrodirective array and active phased array.

Development of Frequency Modulated Array Antennas for Millimeter‐Wave Communications
With the massive growth of wireless data in mobile broadband communications, millimeter‐wave (mm‐wave) communication is an alternative enabling technique for fifth generation (5G) wireless communication systems. More importantly, mm‐wave offers large frequency spectrum bands ranging from 30GHz to 300GHz that can be utilized to provide very high ...

Tolerance Analysis and Robustness of Phase Conjugating Cross‐Eye Jamming
This study explores phase‐conjugating (PC) arrays as a robust alternative to Van Atta (VA) arrays for cross‐eye jamming, a radar countermeasure in electronic warfare, developing an analytical framework validated by simulations. It demonstrates PC arrays' superior tolerance to phase errors and lower minimum JSR requirement against skin return.
