[Technique of retrograde obturation of the root canal following apical resection].

Revue de stomatologie et de chirurgie maxillo-faciale, 1978
This technique may be used, for the upper canines and incisors, to provide mechanical treatment and complete obturation of the root canal by shortened Kerr wires. It is not necessary to shorten the length of the root nor to interfere with fixed dentures.

[Retrograde root obturations employing composite and a dentin bonding agent: adaptions of the filling materials and bond strength].

Tandlaegebladet, 1990
Composite resin containing silver for radiopacity bonds to the dentin surface of a resected and slightly concave root pretreated with a dentin bonding agent (Gluma). The bond strength between composite and apical dentin is about 18 MPa and is not affected by a preceding root canal filling with eugenol-containing sealer.

[Retrograde root obturations using resin and a dentin bonding agent: a preliminary histologic study of tissue reactions in monkeys].

Tandlaegebladet, 1990
The histologic response to a new retrograde root filling procedure using composite and a dentin bonding agent (Gluma) was examined in two monkeys (Cercopithecus aethiops). Infected root canals in canines and incisors were retrograde sealed and a histologic examination performed after 1 year.

[The Retroplast Technique. Retrograde obturation with composite and adhesive technique in endodontic surgery].

Schweizer Monatsschrift fur Zahnmedizin = Revue mensuelle suisse d'odonto-stomatologie = Rivista mensile svizzera di odontologia e stomatologia, 2006
Endodontic surgery, and in particular periapical surgery, has seen a significant development in the last few years, mainly following the introduction of microsurgical principles and the use of magnification devices. The successful outcome of periapical surgery, however, is based on the quality of the root-end obturation that should prevent any ...
