Castleman's disease is presented in the following article in more detail using the case report of a 55-year-old patient with abdominal pain without any significant pre-existing medical conditions. A computer tomography of the abdomen demonstrated a retroperitoneal tumor in the lower abdomen below the aortic bifurcation.

The diagnosis of primary retroperitoneal masses is approached best by CT scan-guided transretroperitoneal core biopsy or by open biopsy. Retroperitoneal mass in a patient with Wegener’s granulomatosis

Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) is a necrotizing vasculitis that classically involves the upper and lower respiratory tracts and kidneys. Uncommonly, other sites may also be involved. We report on a patient previously diagnosed with and treated for WG who presented with flank pain and on further imaging was found to have a retroperitoneal mass.
