What is a return to work after stroke?: 12 month work outcomes in a feasibility trial [PDF]
Background: Return to work (RTW) is an outcome in determining the effectiveness of rehabilitation post-stroke. However, stroke survivors (SS) may return to different roles with altered work status.

3D‐Nanoprinted Fluidically Steerable Soft Robotic Microcatheters
This work introduces a ∼3‐French (1 mm‐in‐diameter) soft robotic microcatheter fabricated by means of two‐photon direct laser writing. The 3D‐printed microcatheter enables remote, on‐demand steering via microfluidic actuation for guidewire‐free navigation of vascular networks as well as microcatheter‐mediated delivery of fluidic payloads to target ...

Modeling and analysis of sliding motion of arc root along OGW during lightning strike
Overhead ground wire (OGW) is an important equipment to prevent transmission wire from being struck by lightning. When OGW is struck by lightning, the sliding motion of arc root causes different damage mechanism. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the

Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

The influence of ground conductivity on the structure of RF radiation from return strokes [PDF]
The combination of the finite conductivity of the Earth plus the propagation of the return stroke current up the channel which results in an apparent time delay between the fast field changes and RF radiation for distant observers is shown.

Association between time to reperfusion and outcome is primarily driven by the time from imaging to reperfusion [PDF]
Background and Purpose A progressive decline in the odds of favorable outcome as time to reperfusion increases is well known. However, the impact of specific workflow intervals is not clear.; Methods We studied the mechanical thrombectomy group (n=103 ...

Sex‐Specific Regulation of Glycemic Homeostasis by Theabrownin from Pu‐erh Tea
Pu‐erh tea's key component, theabrownin (TB), lowers blood glucose in a sex‐specific manner. In females, estrogen boosts intestinal MUC2 production, which dramatically enhances TB's ability to inhibit the carbohydrate‐digesting enzyme α‐glucosidase.
