Eigenmodes of a Loaded Reverberation Chamber
The analytical solution for a loaded reverberation chamber has been investigated. In consistence with earlier works, it is shown that adding a dielectric (non-absorbing) into the chamber will reduce the eigenfrequency of the chamber.

Numerical study of spatial correlation in reverberation chamber
International audienceThe spatial correlation in a reverberation chamber as a function of either the wavelength or the displacement is discussed. It is shown that the results from simulations are consistent with theory when the wavelength is changed ...

Characterization of Reverberation Chamber
2021This chapter gives the details about electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which is an equipment characteristic or property – not to behave unacceptably in the electromagnetic interference (EMI) environment. The need to keep EMC in mind from the beginning of equipment development, given the ongoing distribution density of electronic equipment and its ...

Wave Impedance in Reverberation Chambers
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2014This letter concerns probability density functions of the complex impedance of fields in mode-stirred reverberation chambers. They are based on the electric- and magnetic-field statistics derived for ideal reverberation conditions. The implications of these distributions on electromagnetic compatibility measurements using reverberation chambers are ...

It has been shown that diversity gains and MIMO capacity of multi-port antennas can be conveniently determined from reverberation chamber measurements. In this paper, we first present the covariance eigenvalue approach and the embedded far field function

Test on antennas in a Reverberating Chamber and comparison with anechoic chamber
2012 6th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EUCAP), 2012Nowadays the Reverberating Chamber (RC) are used in a wide range of applications, such as wireless propagation emulation in which is important to emphasize the behavior of an antenna. This paper proposes a RC approach for evaluating the performance of an antenna when a direct link is present.

Introduction to reverberation chamber test method and a two-stirrer mini-reverberation chamber
2002 3rd International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2003As a time-efficient and cost-effective EMC test facility candidate, the reverberation chamber has attracted much attention from academia and industries. The objective of the paper is to introduce its general background, standardisation status and practical applications, highlighting some of merit and non-merit associated with the reverberation chamber ...

Electromagnetic Reverberation Chambers
2011Dedicated to a complete presentation on all aspects of reverberation chambers, this book provides the physical principles behind these test systems in a very progressive manner. The detailed panorama of parameters governing the operation of electromagnetic reverberation chambers details various applications such as radiated immunity, emissivity and ...

On the Validation of Simulated Fields in a Reverberation Chamber
33rd European Microwave Conference, 2003, 2003The field inside a well working reverberation chamber is commonly considered as a statistical field: With varying stirrer position the field components are virtually independent from each other and the field energy is /spl chi//sub (6)//sup 2/-distributed Since the inverse of this statement is not always true it is not sufficient to specify the ...

Atmospheric Attenuation in a mmWave Reverberation Chamber [PDF]
This letter describes the effects of atmospheric attenuation on reverberation-chamber measurements in the mmWave range. It is evaluated using chamber-decay time, as the atmospheric attenuation is also defined as the rate of decay. We describe a method to
