Noise and late-reverberation suppression in time-varying acoustical environments

2010 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing, 2010
We consider single-channel blind late-reverberation suppression in noisy and time-varying acoustical environments. Existing estimators for the late reverberant spectral variance (LRSV) are derived assuming the room impulse responses (RIRs) to be time-invariant realizations of a stochastic process.

Single-Microphone Early and Late Reverberation Suppression in Noisy Speech

IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, 2013
This paper presents a single-microphone approach to the enhancement of noisy reverberant speech via inverse filtering and spectral processing. An efficient algorithm is used to blindly estimate the inverse filter of the Room Impulse Response (RIR). This filter is used to attenuate the early reverberation.

Reverberation suppression and enhanced sensitivity by coherence-based beamforming

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2017
Diffuse acoustic reverberation is often present in poor quality ultrasound images and can mask organs and anatomical structure. In addition, imaging methods such as blood flow and targeted microbubble imaging can be problematic in the presence of reverberation and thermal noise.
