Solvothermal Template‐Induced Hierarchical Porosity in Covalent Organic Frameworks: A Pathway to Enhanced Diffusivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Hierarchically porous covalent organic frameworks (hCOFs) are constructed using a solvothermal template‐induced synthetic strategy. Commercially available zinc oxide nanoparticles are employed as hard template enabling an increase in total pore volume in a series of COFs.

REVERBERATION TIME AS AN INDICATOR FOR NOISE MAPS

open access: yesJournal of Urban and Environmental Engineering, 2018
Despite being an important acoustic parameter in urban canyons, reverberation time (RT) is little used to make noise maps. This paper focuses on urban RT and urban equivalent sound pressure level (LAeq) in order to construct noise maps. Therefore, these indicators were sampled in 31 points distributed in the central region of a medium-sized Brazilian ...

Upconversion Nanoparticle‐Covalent Organic Framework Core–shell Particles as Therapeutic Microrobots Trackable With Optoacoustic Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Upconversion nanoparticle‐covalent organic framework core–shell particles provide enhanced contrast for optoacoustic imaging by leveraging the optical absorption of upconversion luminescence within the covalent organic framework matrix. Beyond their role as contrast agents, these particles enable customizable therapeutic agent loading and release, as ...

Air volume resonances and their influence on hall acoustics

open access: yesArchives of Acoustics, 2014
The influence of resonances in a small rectangular music-hall on its reverberation characteristics was investigated. The length, width and height of the hall are 13.6 x 10.7 x 7 m, respectively.

Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Plaque‐Targeted Delivery of Fluoride‐Free MXene Nanozyme for Alleviating Atherosclerosis via Sonocatalytic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has developed a dual enzyme‐mimicking and ultrasound‐responsive Nb2C‐Pt@HA‐PEG nanozyme. ROS‐eliminating and antiinflammatory capability of Nb2C‐Pt@HA‐PEG under US irradiation are demonstrated on macrophages and endothelial cells in vitro. Nb2C‐Pt@HA‐PEG‐mediated sonocatalytic therapy exerts an outstanding anti‐atherosclerosis efficacy by ...

Acoustic analysis of a semi-anechoic chamber with intersection

open access: yesبهداشت و ایمنی کار, 2014
Introduction: The previous studies have used fibrous absorbents usually in the form of cone-shaped wedges for making anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers which their design and construction have been costly and difficult. The present study aimed to design
