Time-reversal frameness and superselection

open access: yes, 2009
We show that appropriate superpositions of motional states are a reference frame resource that enables breaking of time -reversal superselection so that two parties lacking knowledge about the other's direction of time can still communicate.

Cystatin A promotes the antitumor activity of T helper type 1 cells and dendritic cells in murine models of pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a disease with very poor prognosis due to therapeutic limitations. We investigated the antitumor effects of cystatin A (CSTA) in PDAC murine models. We are first to confirm that CSTA enhances T helper type 1‐mediated antitumor effects through promotion of dendritic cells and M1 macrophage activity. CSTA can be

Reverse integral Hardy inequality on metric measure spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
In this note, we obtain a reverse version of the integral Hardy inequality on metric measure spaces. Moreover, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the weighted reverse Hardy inequality to be true. The main tool in our proof is a continuous version of the reverse Minkowski inequality.

Reverse function, reverse program, and reverse theorem in mathematical programming

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1983
AbstractFirst, our main result is the reverse theorem in mathematical programming problems, where objective and constraint functions satisfy “separability” and “strict monotonicity” in dynamic programming. Second, the reverse functions to such functions are defined anew, and their properties and explicit forms are specified.

Clinical significance of stratifying prostate cancer patients through specific circulating genes

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We tested a specific panel of genes representative of luminal, neuroendocrine and stem‐like cells in the blood of prostate cancer patients, showing predictive value from diagnosis to late stages of disease. This approach allows monitoring of treatment responses and outcomes at specific time points in trajectories.

Distinct roles of striatal direct and indirect pathways in value-based decision making

open access: yeseLife, 2019
The striatum is critically involved in value-based decision making. However, it is unclear how striatal direct and indirect pathways work together to make optimal choices in a dynamic and uncertain environment.

(10, k) Reversible Multiples [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We consider the integers having the property of reversing when multiplied by a specific integer k. First, we proved that k should be either 1, 4 or 9. Second, we classify these integers as (10, 1)- reverse multiples, (10, 4)- reverse multiples and (10, 9)- reverse multiples. Then we conclude their general form.

MET variants with activating N‐lobe mutations identified in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinomas still require ligand stimulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MET variants in the N‐lobe of the kinase domain, found in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinoma, require ligand stimulation to promote cell transformation, in contrast to other RTK variants. This suggests that HGF expression in the microenvironment is important for tumor growth in such patients. Their sensitivity to MET inhibitors opens the way for

Truly Concurrent Process Algebra Is Reversible [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
Based on our previous process algebra for concurrency APTC, we prove that it is reversible with a little modifications. The reversible algebra has four parts: Basic Algebra for Reversible True Concurrency (BARTC), Algebra for Parallelism in Reversible True Concurrency (APRTC), recursion and abstraction.
