Study of DNA conducting properties: Reversible and irreversible evolution

Biophysical Chemistry, 2013
A hole transport through DNA base sequences was modeled. The fact that DNA consists of two polynucleotide strands was taken into consideration. Specific DNA base locations are determined in the model. The model predicts the behavior of a hole acting on the DNA chain, taking into account reversible and irreversible dynamics.

Thermally Conductive-Silicone Composites with Thermally Reversible Cross-links

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2016
Thermally conductive-silicone composites that contain thermally reversible cross-links were prepared by blending diene- and dienophile-functionalized polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) with an aluminum oxide conductive filler. This class of thermally conductive-silicones are useful as thermal interface materials (TIMs) within Information Technology (IT ...

Reversible Block of Nerve Conduction by Ultrasound

Archives of Neurology, 1961
Introduction In recent years ultrasound has found a number of important applications to biological problems. In particular, its destructive effects on the nervous system promise to be of experimental as well as practical value. 1-4 In appropriate dosage it may enhance or depress the functional activity of the central nervous system.

Reversible intraventricular conduction defect in aconitine poisoning.

Singapore medical journal, 2009
Chinese medicine plays an important role in providing medical care for people in countries with large Chinese communities, including Hong Kong. The aconite herb is one of the commonly-prescribed ingredients for various clinical problems. However, due to its narrow therapeutic index, toxicities are not uncommonly encountered, including life-threatening ...
