A miniature reverse osmosis-ultrafiltration system
Desalination, 1977Abstract A miniature membrane separation system is described. Its two main components are a miniature high pressure pump and a miniature plate and frame reverse osmosis cell. The pump developed delivers up to 2.2 lit/hr of water at 80 atm. The reverse osmosis cell may accomodate membranes of a total area up to 4000 cm2.

Rotating disc reverse osmosis system
1986Performance of the rotating disc reverse osmosis system has been investigated with different inorganic salts and applying a wide range of pressures and hydrodynamic conditions. The system has been described using the models of Levich and Sourirajan. The applicability of the models to the rotating disc reverse osmosis system was determined and analyzed.
