Photoresponsive Surfactants for Controllable and Reversible Emulsion Systems [PDF]
Surfactants play a crucial role in applications such as oil-water separation, foam flotation, drug delivery, emulsion polymerization, and emulsifier recovery. Stimulus-responsive surfactants, as innovative smart materials, can reversibly control emulsion

Reversible-Tuning Krafft Temperature of Selenium-Containing Ionic Surfactants by Redox Chemistry
An easy, effective, and reversible strategy for tuning the Krafft temperature (KT) of selenium-containing ionic surfactants, with head groups ranging in nature from anionic to amphoteric, has been achieved for the first time via the redox chemistry of ...

RNA‐related functions of BRCA2 in transcription, replication, and genome stability
Beyond its role in homologous recombination, BRCA2 regulates R‐loop homeostasis, DNA–RNA hybrid resolution, RNA polymerase II dynamics, and transcriptional activation. Disruption of any of these functions can contribute to genome instability, inflammatory signaling, and tumorigenesis. BRCA2 is a central tumor suppressor protein best known for its roles

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

A context‐dependent modulatory role for eIF6 in acquired resistance to vemurafenib in melanoma
Acquired resistance to vemurafenib upregulates the translation factor eIF6 in melanoma cells. Silencing eIF6 in resistant cells reduces proliferation and partially restores drug sensitivity, whereas its overexpression increases sensitivity across melanoma lines regardless of BRAF status, via modulation of mTOR, S6K, and MAPK signaling.

Reversible Saddle-Node Separatrix-Loop Bifurcation
We describe the unfolding of a special variant of the codimension-two Saddle-Node Separatrix-Loop (SNSL) bifurcation that occurs in systems with time-reversibility.

Metastatic niche shaped by host factors influences disseminated cancer cell fate
Metastasis is shaped not only by cancer cells but also by the environments they encounter. This review explores how factors such as aging, diet, the microbiome, lifestyle, and environmental exposures remodel organ‐specific niches in the lung, liver, bone, and brain, influencing where metastatic cells survive, remain dormant, or grow, and ultimately ...

Transient oligomers formed by intrinsically disordered proteins may be ‘invisible’ to direct detection yet remain accessible to solution NMR through equilibrium‐exchange measurements and pressure‐jump experiments. Complementary methods report on mass, stoichiometry, selected distance distributions, morphology, and internal packing.
