Performance analysis of full adder and full subtractor using quantum-dot cellular automata
Quantum cellular automata (QCA), a nanotechnology application has shown to be a profoundly powerful computational environment when compared to CMOS. This article uses a quantum dot cellular automaton (QCA) to primarily project the implementation and ...

Statistical Mechanics of Surjective Cellular Automata [PDF]
Reversible cellular automata are seen as microscopic physical models, and their states of macroscopic equilibrium are described using invariant probability measures.

The Complexity of Iterated Reversible Computation [PDF]
We study a class of functional problems reducible to computing $f^{(n)}(x)$ for inputs $n$ and $x$, where $f$ is a polynomial-time bijection. As we prove, the definition is robust against variations in the type of reduction used in its definition, and in

Reversibility Problem of Multidimensional Finite Cellular Automata [PDF]
While the reversibility of multidimensional cellular automata is undecidable and there exists a criterion for determining if a multidimensional linear cellular automaton is reversible, there are only a few results about the reversibility problem of multidimensional linear cellular automata under boundary conditions.

Causal influence in operational probabilistic theories [PDF]
We study the relation of causal influence between input systems of a reversible evolution and its output systems, in the context of operational probabilistic theories.

Extended Code Index Modulation Scheme Based on Reversible Elementary Cellular Automata Encryption [PDF]
In order to address the problems of limited pseudo noise(PN)code resources in direct sequence spread spectrum system and degraded bit error rate(BER)performance of code index mo-dulation system, this paper proposes an extended code index modulation(E-CIM ...

A Universal Semi-totalistic Cellular Automaton on Kite and Dart Penrose Tilings [PDF]
In this paper we investigate certain properties of semi-totalistic cellular automata (CA) on the well known quasi-periodic kite and dart two dimensional tiling of the plane presented by Roger Penrose.

Reversible Cellular Automata Based Encryption [PDF]
In this paper cellular automata (CA) are applied to construct a symmetric-key encryption algorithm. A new block cipher based on one dimensional, uniform and reversible CA is proposed. A class of CA with rules specifically constructed to be reversible is used. The algorithm uses 224 bit key.

An Image Encryption Scheme Based on DNA Computing and Cellular Automata
Networks have developed very quickly, allowing the speedy transfer of image information through Internet. However, the openness of these networks poses a serious threat to the security of image information.
