A Facile Eutectic Strategy for Scalable, Leakage‐Free Thermochromic Phase‐Change Composites Enabling Smart Temperature Labels and Secure Data Encryption [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Solid–liquid phase change materials (PCMs), when used as solvents in organic thermochromic composite systems, often suffer from leakage issues, which degrade their reversible color‐changing capability.

Intentions and barriers to using long-acting reversible contraceptives among young women seeking safe abortion care in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: a qualitative study [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Public Health
Background Long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs) including intrauterine devices and implants) are safe, highly effective, and recommended for adolescents, yet their use remains low.

Reverse Differentiation via Predictive Coding

open access: yesProceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2022
Deep learning has redefined AI thanks to the rise of artificial neural networks, which are inspired by neurological networks in the brain. Through the years, this dualism between AI and neuroscience has brought immense benefits to both fields, allowing neural networks to be used in a plethora of applications.

Reversible $$G^k$$-codes with applications to DNA codes

open access: yesDesigns, Codes and Cryptography, 2022
In this paper, we give a matrix construction method for designing DNA codes that come from group matrix rings. We show that with our construction one can obtain reversible $G^k$-codes of length $kn,$ where $k, n \in \mathbb{N},$ over the finite commutative Frobenius ring $R.$ We employ our construction method to obtain many DNA codes over $\mathbb{F}_4$

Code Reverse Engineering Problem for Identification Codes [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2012
At ITW'10, Bringer et al. suggest to strengthen their previous identification protocol by extending the Code Reverse Engineering (CRE) problem to identification codes. We first extend security results by Tillich et al. on this very problem. We then prove the security of this protocol using information theoretical arguments.

Construction of reversible cyclic codes over 𝔽q + u𝔽q + u2𝔽q

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2023
Let q be a power of prime p. In this article, we investigate the reversible cyclic codes of arbitrary length n over the ring R = 𝔽q +u𝔽q + u2𝔽q, where u3 = 0 mod q.

New DNA Codes from Cyclic Codes over Mixed Alphabets

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Let R=F4+uF4,withu2=u and S=F4+uF4+vF4,withu2=u,v2=v,uv=vu=0. In this paper, we study F4RS-cyclic codes of block length (α,β,γ) and construct cyclic DNA codes from them. F4RS-cyclic codes can be viewed as S[x]-submodules of Fq[x]〈xα−1〉×R[x]〈xβ−1〉×S[x]〈xγ−

On Reversibility and Self-Duality for Some Classes of Quasi-Cyclic Codes

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this work, we study two classes of quasi-cyclic (QC) codes and examine how several properties can be combined into the codes of these classes. We start with the class of QC codes generated by diagonal generator polynomial matrices; a QC code in this ...

DNA Code from Cyclic and Skew Cyclic Codes over F4[v]/v3

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
The main motivation of this work is to study and obtain some reversible and DNA codes of length n with better parameters. Here, we first investigate the structure of cyclic and skew cyclic codes over the chain ring R:=F4[v]/⟨v3⟩.
