Reversible variable length codes
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1995Summary: The authors propose some reversible variable length codes (RVLC's) which can be decoded instantaneously both in the forward and backward directions and have high transmission efficiency. These codes can be used, for example, in the backward reconstruction of video signals from the data last received when some signal is lost midway in the ...

On Reverse-Free Codes and Permutations
SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, 2010A set $\mathcal{F}$ of ordered $k$-tuples of distinct elements of an $n$-set is pairwise reverse free if it does not contain two ordered $k$-tuples with the same pair of elements in the same pair of coordinates in reverse order. Let $F(n,k)$ be the maximum size of a pairwise reverse-free set.

Reversed Memory Coding and Symbol Reversal in Children
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1983The present study examined an hypothesized mirror-reversed memory-coding phenomenon whereby aligned and mirror-reversed memory records in opposite cerebral hemispheres are confused. Two groups of 7-yr.-old boys were chosen on the basis of tendency to confuse mirror and aligned written symbols.

Improved reversible LDPC codes
Proceedings. International Symposium on Information Theory, 2005. ISIT 2005., 2005We provide a thorough analysis for a class of iteratively encodable low-density parity-check codes. The iterative encoding technique is based upon the graphical representation of the code and allows the decoder circuit to also be used for encoding, thus saving circuit area.

Reverse concatenated watermark codes
2012 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2012In this paper, we introduce an error correction coding scheme, known as reverse concatenated watermark codes for substitution, insertion and deletion channel. This code is obtained by concatenating a distribution transformer with an LDPC code.
