Radiographic biomarkers on grayscale gradient transition zone improve differentiation of deep caries/reversible pulpitis and chronic pulpitis through diagnostic model analysis

Oral Radiology
To explore the effectiveness of radiographic biomarkers on transition area (TA)-the grayscale gradient zone from carious lesion to normal dentine on radiographs-for identifying deep caries/reversible pulpitis and chronic pulpitis via diagnostic model analysis. This retrospective study included 392 caries cases.

Prediction of Pulpal Sequelae in Cracked Teeth with Reversible Pulpitis using Machine Learning Models

Journal of Endodontics
In early stages of cracked teeth, pulpal inflammation is considered reversible. Cracked teeth with retained pulp vitality demonstrate higher survival rates whereas root canal treatment (RCT) negatively influences survival outcomes. The clinical challenge lies in discerning when RCT is required.

[Clinical results of potassium nitrate use in polycarboxylate cement for biological treatment of reversible pulpitis].

Stomatologiia, 2006
To determine effectiveness of indirect pulp capping with 5% potassium nitrate in polycarboxylate cement for biological treatment of reversible pulpitis, a clinical study of 232 teeth with active caries lesions from 205 healthy patients aged from 16 to 40 years was performed.
