Arabic Word Segmentation With Long Short-Term Memory Neural Networks and Word Embedding

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we propose an Arabic word segmentation technique based on a bi-directional long short-term memory deep neural network. This paper addresses the two tasks of word segmentation only and word segmentation for nine cases of the rewrite.

Improving a Statistical MT System with Automatically Learned Rewrite Patterns

open access: yesInternational Conference on Computational Linguistics, 2004
Current clump-based statistical MT systems have two limitations with respect to word ordering: First, they lack a mechanism for expressing and using generalization that accounts for reorderings of linguistic phrases.

Highly Secure In Vivo DNA Data Storage Driven by Genomic Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated computational‐biological programming enables secure in vivo data storage by generating code tables from either genomes or gene regulatory networks, expanding the encryption key space by over 100 orders of magnitude. Storing code tables within synthetic genes, genomes, or gene regulatory networks adds an additional layer of security by ...

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,

Understanding the Roles of Microstructure and Viscoelasticity of Soft Ionic Elastomer for Super‐Capacitive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By engineering the PVA/H3PO4 ionic elastomer with optimized viscoelasticity and a height‐graded microstructure, the pressure sensor achieves a broad linear range up to 2000 kPa and a high sensitivity of 2.70 nF/kPa. These advancements underscore its strong potential for wearable electronics, including bio‐signal detection, health monitoring, and ...

Reversible Stress‐memory Phosphorescent Carbon Nanodots via Supramolecular Confinement Engineering for Aerospace Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A kind of new CNDs‐based materials with reversible mechano‐responsive phosphorescence emission through incorporating CNDs into the supramolecular rigid network is leveraged for aerospace applications, where the CND‐embedded film demonstrated memorable visualization of stress distribution in wings under sudden mechanical events (e.g., micro‐impacts ...

Reconfigurable Acoustofluidic Microvortices for Selective Microcargo Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a frequency‐encoded, reconfigurable acoustofluidic system that overcomes the low throughput and poor selectivity of conventional micro‐delivery methods. By exploiting discrete microbubble resonances to program adaptive microvortex modes, the platform enables real‐time switching and selective guidance of microscale payloads through ...
