Rei Kinjo

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2020
"The most exciting thing about my research is that we can make hitherto inexistent chemical bonding and structures present in the world. I would have liked to have discovered one of the p-block elements …" Find out more about Rei Kinjo in his Author Profile.

Reis-Bckler's dystrophy

Albrecht von Graefes Archiv fr Klinische und Experimentelle Ophthalmologie, 1978
A case of Reis-Bückler's dystrophy in a 36-year-old man is reported. Its clinical aspect is compared with its histological and ultrastructural features. The slight reticular opacities situated superficially in the central part of the cornea, immediately beneath the epithelium, correspond to dark, irregular deposits.

Rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) in coal mine drainage from Southwest China: Geochemical distribution and resource evaluation

, 2021
The ever-intensifying global demand and supply shortage of rare earth elements (lanthanides and yttrium, REY) have led to investigations into alternative sources of REY. Coal mine drainage (CMD) has been suggested as an attractive supplementary source of

Fe-Mn (oxyhydr)oxides as an indicator of REY enrichment in deep-sea sediments from the central North Pacific

Ore Geology Reviews, 2019
Nowadays, pelagic sediments are globally explored as a potential resource of rare earth elements and yttrium (termed as REY), and have received unprecedented attention. However, the formation mechanism of REY-rich deep-sea mud remains controversial.

Calcium phosphate control of REY patterns of siliceous-ooze-rich deep-sea sediments from the central equatorial Pacific

Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, 2019
Rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) are often used as proxies for (paleo)environmental conditions and for the reconstruction of element sources and transport pathways.

Geochemical characteristics of the Permian coals in the Junger-Hebaopian mining district, northeastern Ordos Basin, China: Key role of paleopeat-forming environments in Ga-Li-REY enrichment

, 2020
In order to study the trace element enrichment mechanism, this paper reports new petrology, geochemistry, and mineralogy data on the Permian coals of the Junger mining district and the Hebaopian mining district, northeastern Ordos Basin.

Synchrotron X-ray spectroscopic perspective on the formation mechanism of REY-rich muds in the Pacific Ocean

Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, 2018
We performed X-ray adsorption fine structure (XAFS) analyses of Y, Ce, Fe, and P for rare earth elements and yttrium-rich muds (REY-rich muds) from the two regions of the Pacific Ocean: the eastern South Pacific and the central North Pacific.

Partitioning of rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) in five coal-fired power plants in Guizhou, Southwest China

, 2020
As indispensable strategic materials for high-tech industries, rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) have become particularly important in recent years, raising the demand of developing new approaches for reclamation of REY from REY-rich materials such ...

¿El rey ha muerto? ¿Viva el rey?

La corónica: A Journal of Medieval Hispanic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, 2003
