A New Optimal Diagnosis System for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Diagnosis Based on Archimedes Optimization Algorithm on Chest X-Ray Images. [PDF]

open access: yesComput Intell Neurosci, 2021
The new coronavirus, COVID‐19, has affected people all over the world. Coronaviruses are a large group of viruses that can infect animals and humans and cause respiratory distress; these discomforts may be as mild as a cold or as severe as pneumonia. Correct detection of this disease can help to avoid its spreading increasingly.

Adaptive Fractional‐Order Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller for Lower Limb Rehabilitation Exoskeleton in Constraint Circumstances Based on the Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
In this work, a lower limb exoskeleton with uncertainties and external disturbances under constrained motion has been controlled by developing a model‐free adaptive optimal fractional‐ordersuper‐twisting sliding mode (AOFSTSM) controller. Contrary to popular existing modeling methods, the modeling of the lower limb exoskeleton has been accomplished in ...

Model‐based online efficiency control of induction motor drives based on nonlinear technique

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 16, Issue 10, Page 1223-1231, October 2022., 2022
Abstract To accomplish benefits such as high accuracy and fast response, the model‐based loss minimisation algorithms (LMAs) are introduced in the literature, as one of the main available techniques for minimising power losses in electrical motors. They are appropriate for dynamic applications, which necessitate very fast update of the control variable.

Dynamic Modelling and Calculation of Crank Slider Mechanism of Multiparameter Friction Model in Wireless Communication

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In this research work, an advanced wireless communication‐based crank slider mechanism for multiparameter friction techniques is analyzed. The earlier models are unable to find exact friction; therefore, a correct crank function cannot be identified. The dynamic crank sliding mechanism is required for advanced mechanical applications.

A Theory Approach towards Tradable Rail Freight Option

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
For railway freight pricing, this paper proposes a new tradable rail freight option (RFO). A multiphase trigeminal tree pricing model is established to analyze the optimal pricing decision of RFO. The main parameters of the model are identified theoretically through nonparametric Ito stochastic approach.

Modeling Previous Trial Effect in Human Manipulation through Iterative Learning Control

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 2, Issue 9, September 2020., 2020
Three mathematical models are proposed to predict learning‐by‐repetition human behavior in a balance task with an object of unexpected mass distribution. Models combine reactive terms, learned anticipatory action, featuring intratrial and intertrial memory, and the effect of sensory receptors.

Stackelberg Game Model of Railway Freight Pricing Based on Option Theory

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In recent years, although rail transport has contributed significantly to the productivity of the Chinese economy, it has also been faced with the fierce competition and challenge from other modes of transportation, and therefore, freight‐pricing issue has received more attention by researchers.

General Quadratic‐Additive Type Functional Equation and Its Stability

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2016, Issue 1, 2016., 2016
We investigate the general functional equation of the form f(ax + by + cz) − abf(x + y) − bcf(y + z) − acf(x + z) − a((a + 1)/2 − b − c)f(x) − b((b + 1)/2 − a − c)f(y) − c((c + 1)/2 − a − b)f(z)−(a(a − 1)/2) f(−x) − (b(b − 1)/2) f(−y)−(c(c − 1)/2 )f(−z) = 0, whose solutions are quadratic‐additive mappings in connection with stability problems.

Numerical Reduced Variable Optimization Methods via Implicit Functional Dependence with Applications

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
A systematic theoretical basis is developed that optimizes an arbitrary number of variables for (i) modeling data and (ii) the determination of stationary points of a function of several variables by the optimization of an auxiliary function of a single variable deemed the most significant on physical, experimental or mathematical grounds from which ...

Coefficient subrings of certain local rings with prime‐power characteristic

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 451-462, 1995., 1994
If R is a local ring whose radical J(R) is nilpotent and R/J(R) is a commutative field which is algebraic over GF(p), then R has at least one subring S such that , where each Si, is isomorphic to a Galois ring and S/J(S) is naturally isomorphic to R/J(R). Such subrings of R are mutually isomorphic, but not necessarily conjugate in R.
