From RGB-D Images to RGB Images
ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology, 2015Mining object-level knowledge, that is, building a comprehensive category model base, from a large set of cluttered scenes presents a considerable challenge to the field of artificial intelligence. How to initiate model learning with the least human supervision (i.e., manual labeling) and how to encode the structural knowledge are two elements of this ...

Proceedings of the 33rd Annual ACM Conference Extended Abstracts on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2015
RGB Color bits is an animated RGB LED panel which represents a mutual understanding of recognition between analog colors and 8 bit color data of machine. We, humans are surrounded by digital displays in this era and high resolution of the digital display technology is blurring the lines between real and virtual world.

Effective keyframe extraction from RGB and RGB-D video sequences
2017 Seventh International Conference on Image Processing Theory, Tools and Applications (IPTA), 2017The rapid increase in digital video content demands effective summarization techniques, specially with the creation of RGBD videos. Keyframe extraction significantly reduces the amount of raw data in a video sequence. In this paper, we present a two-stage (histogram and filtering) keyframe extraction algorithm applicable on RGB and RGBD videos.

Most current approaches for recognition in RGB-D images fall in either the late fusion or the early fusion category. A drawback of the early fusion scheme is its inapplicability when one of the modalities is absent at test time. On the other hand, a late fusion of features does not allow the correlated nature of modalities to be exploited effectively ...
