A Case of Neonatal Neutropenia Due to Anti-Fc Gamma Receptor IIIb Isoantibodies Treated with Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor

open access: yesCase Reports in Medicine, 2009
Alloimmunization to granulocyte-specific antigens can occur during pregnancy. Maternal antibodies of IgG class can cross the placenta to result in alloimmune neonatal neutropenia.

Hyperbilirubinemia due to minor blood group (anti-E) incompatibility in a newborn: A case report [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In addition to Rh and ABO incompatibilities subgroup incompatibilities may rarely play a role among the causes of hemolytic anemia and indirect hyperbilirubinemia in newborns.

Thoughts on the Riemann hypothesis [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2003
The simultaneous appearance in May 2003 of four books on the Riemann hypothesis (RH) provoked these reflections. We briefly discuss whether the RH should be added as a new axiom, or whether a proof of the RH might involve the notion of randomness.

Correlation between the RhD genotyping and RhD serotyping in isoimmunized pregnancies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Alloimmunisation was one of the most important causes of perinatal mortality and morbidity by the middle of the last century. The objective of the present study was to investigate the presence of the RHD gene in fetal cells (amniocytes) obtained from ...

Hemolytic disease of the newborn due to isoimmunization with anti-E antibodies: a case report

open access: yesThe Turkish Journal of Pediatrics, 2002
Minor blood group hemolytic disease is extremely rare, since the overall potency of minor blood groups in inducing antibodies is significantly lower when compared with that of Rh (D) antigen.

Crystal structure, magnetic properties and magnetocaloric performance of RE$_{5}$Rh$_2$In$_4$ (RE = Gd-Tm) compounds [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Polycrystalline samples of the RE$_{5}$Rh$_2$In$_4$ (RE = Gd--Tm) intermetallics have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) as well as by DC and AC magnetometric measurements. The XRD data confirm that the compounds crystallize with the orthorhombic Lu$_{5}$Ni$_2$In$_4$-type structure (space group Pbam, No. 55).
