Plant-mixed hot recycling of asphalt mixtures (RAMs) is a key approach for recycling reclaimed asphalt pavement, though the stiff aged binder induces trade-offs among rutting, low-temperature cracking, and moisture damage.

Feasibility and Limitations of the Advanced Replica Process for Bioactive Glasses
Periodic 3D‐printed Kelvin‐cell templates enable a controlled advanced replica process for fabricating highly porous glass lattices. Across P45K9, 45S5, and 13–93, material‐dependent differences in coating, burnout, and shrinkage lead to distinct strut morphologies, while comparable final porosities of 83%–88% are retained.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Rheological properties of warm mixed high viscosity asphalt at high and low temperatures.
The rheological properties of asphalt can well reflect its road performance, but the rheological properties of warm mix high viscosity asphalt (HVA) are unclear.

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Hospital performance: costs of acute admitted patients in public hospitals in 2011–12 [PDF]
Some public hospitals spend nearly twice as much money as others to provide similar services to similar groups of patients. Overview Hospitals account for a large share of the funds Australia spends on the health sector each year. In 2011–12, about 30%

A putative (private) life of Hannah Arendt. Bio-portraiture as performance in the work of Miriam Shenitzer [PDF]
The paper uses tropes culled from several of Hannah Arendt's works, as well as Rebecca Schneider's performance-theoretical considerations on "reenactment", to analyze the work of artist Miriam Shenitzer, specifically a show of drawings, captions, and ...

From Food to Power: Hydrogel Thermoelectrics for Ingestible Electronics
We introduce a fully edible thermoelectric–electrochromic platform that harvests heat from food and converts it into a visible color change. N‐type and p‐type hydrogel thermoelectric generators connected in series power anthocyanin‐based electrochromic displays, demonstrating the feasibility of safe, biodegradable, ingestible systems for on‐food ...
