HLA-DRβ2 and IgM Rheumatoid Factor (RF) Positive Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
48 patients suffering from classic erosive RA with conditions persisting for more than 6 years were examined together with 69 healthy control subject with regard to associations to supertypic HLA-D specificities. We found a significant increase of HLA-DRw53 in patients with RF positive RA (22/31 pat. = 71%,Chi2 = 13.2, p<0.01).

1023 IgA RHEUMATOID FACTOR (RF) IN HENOCH-SCHONLEIN PURPURA (HSP) [PDF]
Recent evidence indicates that circulating immune complexes play a role in the pathogenesis of HSP. The elaboration of RF appears to be an important host response to circulating immune complexes. Accordingly, sera from 23 children with acute HSP were tested for RF of various isotypes using a diffusion-in-gel enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay.

Evaluate the prevalence of CCP and RF antibodies as a marker for diagnosis and progression of Rheumatoid Arthritis disease and assess the prevalence of HCV in RA patients [PDF]
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease characterized by the presence of autoantibodies like rheumatoid factor (RF). In the last few years, several other autoantibodies have been described of which anti-cyclic citrullinated

Gambaran Kadar Rheumatoid Factor (Rf) Pada Wanita Menopause
Menopause occurs in women aged between 40-55 years. Decreased levels of the hormone estrogen at the time of menopause will interfere with calcium absorption so that bones become brittle. Cells that experience inflammation will cause the entry of antibodies into the space between the bones.
