Assessment of genetically modified soybean MON 94313 (application GMFF‐2022‐6595)
Abstract Genetically modified soybean MON 94313 was developed to confer tolerance to dicamba, glufosinate, 2,4‐D and mesotrione‐based herbicides. These properties were achieved by introducing the dmo, pat, ft_t.1 and tdo expression cassettes. The molecular characterisation data and bioinformatics analyses do not identify issues requiring food/feed ...

Tsukamurella tyrosinosolvens and Rhizobium radiobacter sepsis presenting with septic pulmonary emboli [PDF]
Septic pulmonary embolism (SPE) is an uncommon, but life-threatening event that is usually associated with extrapulmonary infections. We report the first case of bilateral SPE secondary to a central venous catheter-related bloodstream infection involving pathogens commonly considered environmental contaminants: Tsukamurella tyrosinosolvens and ...

ABSTRACT In ecological restoration of degraded natural habitats, revegetation with wild native plants is a priority. Legumes play a key role in this process through nitrogen (N)‐fixing symbiosis with rhizobia, obtaining N for their growth and improving soil fertility, which benefits other nonleguminous plants in the environment. This study explores the

Detection of Tumorigenic Rhizobia in Asymptomatic Peach Plants by PCR
At present the only method for the detection of Rhizobium radiobacter and R. rhizogenes (ex Agrobacterium tumefaciens) in plants is by isolating the bacteria on selective medium and testing them in vivo for pathogenicity. This procedure is time-consuming

Background:Soil microorganisms are exposed to herbicides after treatment, which leads to their interaction. The result of this interaction may be the degradation of the herbicides by the microorganisms and by the way, they use the degradation products as an energy source for their own physiological processes, or herbicides have a toxic effect on these ...

Assessment of genetically modified soybean MON 94637 (application GMFF‐2023‐21116)
Abstract Genetically modified soybean MON 94637 was developed to provide protection against targeted lepidopteran pests. These properties were achieved by introducing the cry1A.2 and cry1B.2 expression cassettes. The molecular characterisation data and bioinformatic analyses do not identify issues requiring food/feed safety assessment.

Abstract BACKGROUND This study investigates the production scale‐up of exopolysaccharide (EPS) by Ensifer meliloti SEMIA 135 from shake flasks to a 5 L bench‐scale fed‐batch bioreactor. Soybean molasses was the cost‐effective nutrient source. The primary aim was to improve conditions for maximizing EPS yield and minimizing production costs.
